Lyme Regis Pantomime Society was founded over 35 years ago, staging a traditional panto every year during February half term.
A great pantomime is full of larger-than-life characters and plenty of laughs – a villain that everyone hates, a comical dame and young love and our shows encapsulate all of this and more, enthralling audiences year after year.
Our aim is to provide entertainment for the local community while giving adults and young people an opportunity to learn new skills, develop confidence, enhance mental wellbeing, and make new friends.
We are proud to be an all-inclusive group from school year 7 upwards.
Since 2018 our shows have been held at the wonderful Woodmead Halls.
We are always keen to welcome new members – so if you’re looking for some fun and want to make new friends, then please do get in touch with us. Whether it’s working backstage or taking to the stage to perform, we take care to ensure we mentor and develop all of our members. We offer a variety of opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to express and develop their creative talents, not just treading the boards, but also off-stage by getting involved with set design, music, front-of-house, wardrobe – you name it.
